Charles Crispin is the Senior Vice President of Evergreen Re, Inc. — a managed care reinsurance firm that provides reinsurance brokerage services to clients to reduce unnecessary health care costs through a variety of economic incentives. Serving as the former CEO and President of the company, Charles was able to make Evergreen Re, Inc. one of the largest and most comprehensive brokers of managed care reinsurance in the United States.

Charles joined Evergreen Re, Inc. in 1997, and was primarily responsible for the company’s robust increase in revenues and profits. He developed a series of proprietary analysis strategies which enabled clients to understand and predict financial risks as a reinsurer would. These strategies were the result of years of hard work by Charles Crispin and his former partners, who founded the actuarial consulting firm, Reden & Anders (Ingenix).

Charles has a vast understanding of managed care operations and health care economics. His clients include health plan providers, health insurers, large integrated delivery systems, physician organizations, self-funded employers, and government-sponsored health care programs. In 2007, Charles sold Evergreen Re, Inc. to Brown & Brown, and continued his role as the President and CEO of the company until May 2010. As the current Senior Vice President, he now focuses on mentoring his clients and company employees in their pursuit for excellent financial management.

Charles is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned his degree in Economics. He is currently a participating member of several health plan organizations across the U.S. and regularly joins the activities of the Managed Care Reinsurance Association, the Orange Bowl Committee, and Vistage.
